Welcome to your place to find out what is good and bad about dating along the Five Cities area of San Luis Obispo County, also known as "South County". This covers the area south of San Luis Obispo along Highways 1, 101, part of Highways 227 and 166 south to the Santa Maria River and Santa Barbara County line. This covers Avila Beach, Shell Beach, Pismo Beach, Grover Beach, Arroyo Grande, Oceano, and Nipomo. Other towns such as Halcyon, the Mesa, Perfumo Canyon, Lopez Canyon, and parts of Highway 227 and "Wine Country" are covered under "Other".
Of course, we cannot cover all areas, we do our best to bring you the most information we can. You will notice that we skip some areas and clump them together under "other". This is because there is no real classification for many events and locations, or they may cover a large area. The more we find going on in that area, the more we will list. I hope you find this useful in deciding what to do on your first or subsequent dates.

We will post pros and cons based on information given to us by CCS members.
